Dr Thomas Sealey BChD, MMedEd, MSc Endo, is a multiple Award-winning cosmetic dentist and one of only 15 dentists in the UK who have achieved the esteemed status of full Accreditation with the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This achievement is the highest acknowledgement within the profession and recognises Dr Sealey’s career-long pursuit of dental perfection, earning him the position as one of the top cosmetic dentists in the country.
Tom graduated from Leeds University in 2006 and has a young family with his wife Lucy. He worked as an NHS dentist for over 8 years before moving to Private Dentistry at Start- Smiling and Grange Green Dental Practices. His passion for smile makeovers and aesthetic excellence has scooped him the award of ‘Best Young Dentist - South’ at the prestigious Dentistry Awards on more than one occasion (2015 & 2016) and more recently he won the title of ‘Best Aesthetic Dentist in the UK’ at the 2019 Aesthetic Dentistry Awards.
Tom holds an MSc in Endodontic Practice and a Master degree in Medical Education, and he is the co-inventor and co-owner of SmileFast TM , which is a revolutionary new way to achieve perfect smiles using white filling material. Dr Tom created SmileFast along with another dentist in 2018 and has spent the last three years developing this into an international company. The SmileFast staffing team is now over 50 members spread across the globe and Tom is regularly lecturing to Dentists, both in the UK and internationally, to teach them on cosmetic dentistry techniques. SmileFast has now trained over ¼ of all UK dentists – something Tom is very proud of.
Dr Sealey’s main clinical focus is to achieve your perfect smile without anxiety or pain. He is very familiar with ALL dental restorative techniques and can often offer things that other dentists cannot – meaning you can achieve your perfect smile with less cost and less fear. He uses a minimally invasive approach to all his dentistry, which means he aims to achieve the smile of your dreams without unduly damaging your teeth; always being as conservative and gentle as possible. He has extensive experience in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, utilising orthodontics, advanced aesthetic composite restorations and ceramic smile design, to achieve perfectly natural smile transformations.

Tony is married to Nicole and they have three children Noemi Lucia and Eva. Although born in Hertfordshire his parents are from Galicia in the rugged North west Coast of Spain. Many visits here as a child have developed his love for travel, the outdoors, good food and spending time with family and friends. Aside from dentistry Tony is a passionate golfer and enjoys running and hiking. One of his favourite trips was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro which he did with his wife, helping to raise money for local communities in Tanzania.
Dr. Tony Aneiros qualified with honours from The Royal London Dental School in 2004. Having achieved distinctions in all 5 years of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery he was nominated for the Gold Medal award of the University of London. Since qualifying he has lived and worked in Essex and has gained experience in all fields of general dental care with a special interest in aesthetic and implant dentistry. He has achieved the Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education at Bedfordshire University and was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Tony is a mentor to other dentists and has been a Foundation Dentist trainer with the South East of England Health Authority, a position which demands demonstration of advanced experience in modern dentistry and an ability to teach newly qualified dentists safe, predictable and professional care to the highest standard. He has an established reputation for his caring nature and ability to treat nervous patients with an informative, tailored and gentle approach that prioritizes patient needs.
He has a thorough understanding in Dental Implant Treatment having completed a Masters Degree in Implant dentistry at the University of Bristol, travelled internationally to develop his skills and has been helping patients to smile more confidently and eat comfortably with dental implants for over 10 years.
Tony loves to help patients through their journey to a healthy happy smile with the use of photography and study models so that patients can visualise and be a part of the planning experience for treatments ranging from a single tooth to a bespoke new smile. Since 2007 Tony has been providing cosmetic teeth straightening using clear, fixed and hidden orthodontic systems to help patients say farewell to twisted teeth. With advanced training in cosmetic bonding, whitening, veneers, crowns and bridges you can expect a comprehensive whole mouth health approach as well as a beautiful long lasting result.
Dr Tony believes that his patients should have the best that modern dentistry has to offer and has invested in his training and cutting edge dental technology and materials at Start Smiling. Today patients can get more out of dentistry and have their smiles transformed in a gentle comfortable manner often with no drilling or injections and fewer appointments. We can make a visit to the dentist a positive, pain free experience and transform how you feel about your teeth. We will listen to you without judging and help develop a long trusting relationship. It’s amazing how a confident smile can change a patient’s life and we see it every week.
Born in Nottingham and having practiced in various parts of the East Midlands, I am very excited about my move to join the Start Smiling team. I will be moving with my partner, Anna and our two cats, Duck and Goose and we plan to grow our family in the coming year! We have a keen passion for travelling and all things active, having been to places such as Uganda, Oman and Ecuador in the last few years, we love to experience the local food and culture in the places we travel.
Outside of work, I like to keep busy with hobbies including climbing, diving and skiing. While I no longer play, I was a keen basketball player in childhood and I am still a diehard LA Lakers fan and watch games as often as I can. I am a dedicated gym-goer and lover of all food and drink. I’m very much looking forward to exploring all that Essex has to offer. Being new to the area, I welcome all suggestions of places to eat and drink!
As well as practicing dentistry, I am keen to use the skills I have learnt in a charitable way, combining some of my travelling with volunteering. My previous trips have been to Ecuador and Nepal which have allowed me to provide care for those in need for sometimes weeks and months at a time and allowed me a truly enriching experience. In the future myself and Anna, a doctor, plan to do this in Uganda.
I qualified from dental school in Sheffield in 2014. Since then I have worked in practices in Nottingham, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire with the majority of my career in private practice. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and helping those who are anxious and nervous. By getting to know you and your needs, I find I can help reduce the stress of a visit to the dentist. I am a self confessed dental geek and often spend far too long reading, watching and studying teeth.
Very early on I developed a keen interest in comprehensive dentistry, meaning I enjoy taking care of all aspects of my patients mouth and helping them understand this. I am currently completing my masters degree in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and this has only further my passion for a high standard of care. I have experience in cosmetics and straightening teeth and in combining this with photography, I really enjoy seeing patients getting the smile that they deserve.
More recently, as someone who has suffered for years with pain and headaches from grinding my teeth, I have a passion for helping those with similar problems.
I live locally with my husband Jamie and our two dogs, a cat, three chickens and two budgerigars who I am trying to teach to speak. I have a daughter studying at Oxford and Jamie has two sons and a beautiful baby granddaughter.
I enjoy travelling and love the enrichment that comes from experiencing other cultures.
When I am not working, Jamie and I make a hobby from eating out, trying new restaurants and I like to replicate recipes at home. I read a lot and like to read about many different topics
I am one of the hygienists at Start-Smiling. I qualified in 1984 form Guys Dental School.
My dental journey began in 2009 as a trainee dental nurse in the good old east end of London! I then worked in a practice in Essex for 5 years has head dental nurse and then a practice closer to home for 2 years. I had great experience working in 3 very diverse areas, but I wished to pursue a new chapter in my life. Fast forward to 2019 and I graduated from the University of Essex as a dental hygienist.
It is my priority in making patients feel relaxed and happy at their appointments and giving them the opportunity in asking me any questions they may have. I take enormous pride when patients thank me for a gentle and pleasant experience and I feel proud when they return for their scheduled appointment months later, feeling more confident (a hygiene appointment is straight forward, if you take on board advice and take things at a steady pace!)
I have been working at SS since 2020, I have learnt all about airflow at the practice (which patients love!) and I enjoy all aspects of dental hygiene. I am always willing to learn new skills within my field and I would like to do whitening treatment in the next couple of years.
In my spare time, I enjoy Pilates and yoga. I like to see a west end show occasionally with friends, with a bite to eat afterwards! I work towards my holidays; Cyprus is one of my favourite places. My close family-such as my long-term partner, my parents, brother and nephew are so important to me, and I try and spend as much time as I can with them.
My name is Emma, I started in Dentistry in 1999 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1999.
I left in 2012 when the practice was sold to the previous owner. In the meantime I went to another Dental Practice, learned many new skills and returned to Grange Green Dental Practice in 2019 to put them into practice.
I joined Start Smiling as Practice Manager in October 2022 and now manage both Start Smiling and Grange Green Dental Practice. To join the tea at Start Smiling has been fantastic, they all want to give the patients the best care and show this with empathy and 100% professionalism.
I am a social bunny, so love to go for dinner, theatre and doing exciting days out with my family and friends. Like a lot of women I also have a shoe obsession but that’s a normal thing right!!?
I look forward to the future ahead and hope that we can carry on with the great service and care that we all deserve

Hi, my name is Gemma and I work on reception at Start Smiling. I have been with the team since 2020.
I enjoy making great relationships with all our patients and have got to know many of you on personal level, which I hope makes you feel very familiar and at ease in the practice.
I have a friendly personality and have a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of our patients When I'm not at work, my favourite thing to do is to be out and about enjoying life with my family and friends.
I am originally from Lithuania This is my first dental nursing job and I have worked here for almost 2 years, and I can not explain how much this practice has changed my life, how much it has helped me grow as a person and how this practice and all the members in this team feel like family.
I think what I love about being a nurse here is getting to know all the patients and being part of their journey, and getting to know their life and them as a person along the way, and then seeing the results and reactions after a big smile makeover treatment, that’s the best bit.
I’m not very extravagant outside of work, I love reading, going for walks, yoga, travelling round the world and trying different resturants and foods. I’m a big foodie. I like to keep myself occupied with continuously studying something, I’m currently trying to learn sign language.

I love spending time with my children and making new memories with them and go on new adventures.
